The September Challenge

One month. Three disciplines. Every family.

Throughout September, fathers and children around the world move together and add their kilometres to one global total. Pick a discipline — or do all three.

Run

A park loop, a school route or a first 5K together.

Bike

City lanes, forest tracks or a weekend ride out of town.

Hike

A hill, a coastline or a long walk with real conversation.

What Dadathlon is

Sport is the excuse. Time together is the point.

Dadathlon is a simple idea: when a father and a child move together, something changes between them. We build the occasions that make it happen — globally and locally.

Simple to join

No membership, no qualifying time, no equipment list. Show up and move.

Made for families

Every distance, every pace, every age. Children set the tempo.

Backed by partners

An Erasmus+ consortium of sport organisations across six European countries.

A global movement

From one country to a European network.

Dadathlon is co-funded by the European Union and delivered by national sport organisations in Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia and Sweden — with a worldwide virtual edition open to everyone else.
